The body constantly mistakes thirst as hunger. When you don’t drink enough per day, your body feels tired and when you feel tired, you crave more sugar and carbohydrates for energy. The best option is to drink a pint as soon as you feel hungry and see if the hunger dissipates. Another choice is a couple mugs of green or fruit tea.
How Much Water Should I Drink in a Day?
It’s actually really easy to find out. Just use this calculator below and aim for that per day: Step 1: Take your weight (in lbs.) and divide that by 2.2 Step 2: Multiply that number depending on your age
if you’re younger than 30, multiply by 40
if you’re between 30 and 55, multiply by 35
if you’re older than 55, multiply by 30
Step 3: Divide that sum by 28.3 Step 4: Your total is how many ounces you should drink each day.
How Should I Have My Water?
It’s always better to just drink it with nothing else but if you don’t like that you should start putting squash in your drinks to at least get the intake. Then over time have it weaker and weaker or alternate 1 bottle of water for 1 bottle of squash. Eventually transition to just water. If you can just start drinking more then go for it but I know a lot of people this method has helped.
